Probably, the village of Romanshorn was settled around the 7th century and it's first mentioned in writing as Rumanishorn in a land deal between Waldrata and the Abbey of St. Roman in 779. Later on, in 1830, it became known as Romanshorn. It is located in Eastern Switzerland, right next to Liechtenstein.
