Manchester City 3-1 Manchester United: Match Report
Foden and Haaland Secure Victory for City
Rashford's Early Strike Not Enough as City Come From Behind
Manchester City came from behind to beat Manchester United 3-1 in the FA Cup final on Sunday, thanks to goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland.
Marcus Rashford had given United the lead in the eighth minute, but Foden equalized with a stunning strike just five minutes later. Haaland then scored the winning goal in the 34th minute, before Foden added a third in the second half to seal the victory.
The win gives City their first FA Cup triumph since 2019 and their seventh overall. It also marks the first time that they have won the FA Cup and Premier League double in the same season since 2019.
For United, the defeat is a major disappointment and means that they have now gone without a major trophy for six years.
