Elder Scrolls Online Crossplay Update
Crossplay Options Expanded
The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) has expanded its crossplay options to include PC, Mac, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. This update allows players on these platforms to join together and explore the world of Tamriel.
Limitations Remain
While ESO now supports crossplay between a wider range of platforms, some limitations remain. Players on different console types (PlayStation and Xbox) cannot play together, and PC players cannot interact with console players. This means that cross-platform play is currently only possible between PC, Mac, Stadia, PS4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S.
Benefits of Crossplay
Crossplay offers several benefits to players. It allows them to join with friends who may be using different platforms, expanding the possibilities for cooperative and competitive play. It also helps to create a more vibrant and active community, as players from different platforms can interact and engage with each other.
Ongoing Development
The developers of ESO are committed to continuing to improve the crossplay experience. They are working to address the remaining limitations and are exploring ways to expand crossplay to additional platforms in the future.
