Brexit: Question Time debate with Leave voters
Political leaders face audience questions
Private Eye editor Ian Hislop says remain voters deserve a say
The BBC's Question Time programme has featured a special Brexit edition with an audience of Leave voters. Political leaders faced challenging questions from the audience, including Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Conservative Party leadership candidate Boris Johnson.
Private Eye editor Ian Hislop said that remain voters in the EU Referendum are entitled to their say. Speaking on Question Time, he said: "I think the remain voters have been very, very quiet. They've been very dignified. They've accepted the result of the referendum. But they're entitled to have their say."
The programme also featured a debate between political and media figures, including former Conservative Party leader Michael Howard and Labour MP Diane Abbott.
