British Grand Prix: Hamilton and Russell on Pole, Verstappen Sixth

Silverstone, UK – July 2, 2023

George Russell and Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will start the British Grand Prix from the front row today after a thrilling qualifying session at Silverstone. Max Verstappen of Red Bull, who has won seven of the season's 11 races, will start from sixth place on the grid.

The race is expected to be a close one, with the top three teams all showing strong pace. Mercedes has been the fastest team in qualifying so far this season, and will be hoping to convert their strong form into a win on home soil.
