Extended Warning

New Warning

In addition to the extended warning, a new yellow warning for rain has been issued for the Isle of Wight from 3 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2023, until 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2023. This warning means that there is a risk of flooding and travel disruption in some areas.

What to Expect

During the amber warning period, the Isle of Wight could see up to 100mm of rain, with the heaviest rain expected on Thursday night and Friday morning. The rain is expected to cause flooding in some areas, and travel disruption is likely. During the yellow warning period, the Isle of Wight could see up to 40mm of rain. This rain is less likely to cause flooding, but there is still a risk of travel disruption.
