Cortes De Agua Programados Para Hoy
Water Cuts Scheduled for Today
Know What to Do Before, During, and After a Planned Water Outage
Before the Outage
- Fill up your bathtub and other containers with water for drinking, cooking, and bathing.
- Refill water bottles that you usually use for picnics and sports.
- Make ice cubes and fill up your freezer so that they can keep food cold in the fridge for a longer amount of time if the power goes out.
During the Outage
- Don't use water for non-essential purposes like washing your car or watering your lawn.
- Use a bucket to flush your toilet instead of using the regular method that uses a lot of water.
- Turn off the water supply to your washing machine and dishwasher so they don't automatically start when water service is restored.
After the Outage
- Run your faucets for a few minutes to clear out any sediment that may have built up in the pipes.
- Check your appliances for any leaks before using them again.
- Water your lawn and plants deeply to help them recover from the drought.
